F-104G MM6567/3-47 of 28 Gruppo also was present at Volkel in 1992, more than 6 years after this Dutch airbase retired its F-104's in favour of F-16's. This Fiat-built G-model, accepted by the Italian air force on February 27th, 1964, was retired on May 25th, 1993.
