MiG-27D 61912555104/33(r) of 296.APIB seen leaving Grossenhain on March 22nd, 1993. On this and the previous day, over 100 MiG-23UB and MiG-27's of three different regiments left the former German Democratic Republic for an uncertain future in the motherland. The Floggers of 296APIB went to Chebenki. The MiG's were retired and the unit became 296BAP with Su-24M Fencers at Marinovka, before final disbandment in 1998. The MiG's were scrapped at Chebenki.
