63 Mirage 5BA's were license built by SABCA in Belgium for use with the Belgian Air Force. Compared to the Mirage 5F, the BA mostly had US equipment on board. In 1993, the last ones were retired. Mirage 5BA BA-56 is seen carrying the fallen star badge of 2 smaldeel (squadron) at Eindhoven, 1987.
