The 'Soviet Hercules' An-12BP played an important role in tactical Warpac transport for many decades. 226 OSAP at Sperenberg, in the former German Democratic Republik (DDR), flew various transport aircraft and types. This early, in a-typical olive green c/s, An-12BP 3341102/93 (r) was seen at Sperenberg shortly before the airbase was closed. It returned to Kubinka, Russia in September 1994 and is never seen again (probably broken up)
