A wonderful gallery: no need to say "voted"
Thanks for such attractive pictures
Living in the UK we rarely get any news or any pictures like this.Great stuff.
God Bless America and Bless all who has made the trip so we can have a better America and World.
I think this is the best view of the Shuttle I've ever seen...very instructive and just magnificent-makes you proud to be an American. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
My husband and I saw the Atlantis take off yesterday. It is so awesome. I am new to photography, as well as a Floridian. I would love to take some night pictures of the shuttle. Do you have any suggestions on where to take them and the recommended camera settings?
Fantastic piece of journalism!
Great pictures. Reminds me of a launch of Challenger I witnessed.
Thanks for these brilliant pictures. Living in Port Elizabeth, South Africa I was not privileged to see this event live so have enjoyed the experience via tour pictures. Keep up the spectacular shots in the future.
I meant the 15th shot in the gallery.
I can't thank you enough for this wonderful opportunity to see a bit more of the mission than usual. Your shot entitled STS 121 should be printed and mounted poster size. A wonderful gallery of quality shots.
FANTASTIC - RECORDING HISTORY AS IT HAPPENS. THANKS
Your skill of photography is beyond words!
Stunning gallery! ~V~
This is just awesome. It means a lot more when my family was there 2 months before launch and saw the path that it takes from the VAB to the launch pad.

Awsome pictures. thanks for sharing.
Wow, great shots, must be a real experience witnessing the take off
This is such a great gallery. It won't be long before this will be a valued historic record of a time long past. It will be so sad to see this program put to bed. I was a Florida resident for a little less than 20 years, the first shuttle launch I saw live (unfortunately) was the launch of Challenger on her last mission. That is a day that will live with me forever, as it will for so many. I still remember how the vapor trails were still there at 5:00pm that day when I drove home from work... a sad reminder of the events of that morning. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pictures, they are some of the best I have seen anywhere. -Jim

Great gallery. What a superb effort by NASA and all involved. (I may be prejudiced because I worked on the SRB program for a few years in the beginning of the program.)
Now that I am Retired these Great picutures bring back so many memories of working on the Solid Rocket Booster Program.

lucky you to have had the opportunity to see a shuttle launch :)
Outstanding Photographs! Well Done...
Amazing gallery! GMV.
Good job of finding many different shots at one event. To me, that is a big part of what separates a photographer from a casual shooter-- the ability to take many unique shots of the same thing. "All eyes are on Discovery" is brilliant-- a shot that any newspaper in the country would have loved to publish, I'm sure.
amazing gallery! were you taking these pictures for a newspaper or anything?
I enjoyed your Galleries Rod
Best wishes from England
Great gallery. I've been watcching launches and spaceflight since Mercury. How can you not vote for this gallery. If it wasn't for the space program I wouldn'd be shooting digital and this country might not be free. Thanks
