Hi Rod-- I'll be going to the STS-125 night launch in October; was wondering if you
had any tips on parameters (I've looked over what you have posted). I figure I'll need to shoot 'manual'; I have a Canon EOS 5D, thinking about buying a
500mm prime for this trip (I'll be shooting from the NASA causeway). Any
input appreciated. Thank! RW. shadowdoc31@yahoo.com

There's a wall hanger if I've ever seen one. Well done! Voted.

Amazing. I'm a noob really so i'm wondering how you managed to meter the light levels and make manual adjustments in time to capture the image (if this was full manual). Really well done. You capture the intensity of the blast and the excitement of the occasion.

Great shots! I had the opportunity to see a night static-firing of the SRB last month.
