My son is engaged to the granddaughter of the NASA engineer John W. Kiker, that came up with
the concept and theory development of the aerodynamics, systems, support and substructures
to aircraft and orbiter necessary to fly the shuttle on top of the 747.
He received the Presidential Management Award from President Jimmy Carter for this.
John passed away in May of this year. He was a dear friend.
