Following the sad death of the Queen I decided to go into London to pay my respects to the Queen during her lying in state in Westminster Hall. I joined the queue by myself on Thursday 15 Sept 2022 at 7.30am. There was a magical atmosphere and I soon became part of a group of 9 people who stayed together to the end and became friends. We paid our respects at 13.30 after 6 hours. Later the queues were twice as long. I didn't take any photographs while queueing. Later in the day we visited Green Park to see the floral tributes and I took these photographs. There are no subtitles.
