Kluang is in the centre of the Malaysian state Johor. It is geographically located at 110km from the state capital of Johor Bahru, south-east of Batu Pahat, west of Mersing and south of Segamat. It is the only district without a seafront but boasts some of the best food this state offers. Many Singaporean drive northwards from Singapore to Kluang just to sample the food this quaint little town is renoun for.
On this day, six of us made this day trip to do just that. This gallery documents our food trail and I would gladly recommend those with a craving for authentic Chinese hawker (old kopitiam) fare to discover for themselves the joy of good food.
