On weekends, Sai Kung is busy with locals and tourists coming here to get away from city life. A good time to come would be on a weekday if you can. Hire a boat from one of the boat owners near the ferry. Don't accept the first price offered and you should get a fair deal. Anything from 2-8 hour hire is fine and depending on the length of time, you get to see more or less of this fabulous bay area.
