Pressed Silence (Self-Portrait)

Pressed Silence (Self-Portrait)
A figure behind a steamed glass shower door, palms raised
Part performance, part confession. In this self-portrait, the artist turns the lens on himself — not to reveal, but to obscure. Pressed hands, half-seen face, and the barrier of fogged glass create a theatrical pause between vulnerability and restraint. It’s playful, even humorous, yet the ambiguity lingers. Is this containment or expression? Exposure or withdrawal? A moment of self-awareness caught between protection and presentation.
