A fabulous macro portrait. Talk about "shivering me timbers!" It's always a bit of a shock, seeing the design and complexity of these little buzzing insects, and imagining them hundreds of times larger -- a la various science fiction scenarios. Reminds me of Jeff Goldblum in THE FLY, and all the SEC scans of the so-called "primitive" insects. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek.
