The Bisti/De Na Zin Wilderness area, sometimes called "Planet Bisti," is a fascinating and strikingly beautiful part NW New Mexico, just a dino bone's throw from Chaco Canyon. The area is filled with petrified logs, dinosaur bones, and amazing formations of eroded limestone, sandstone, volcanic ash, and sediment from million of years of swamps and a vast inland sea.
