We spent a couple of days exploring North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Eriskay and Berneray.
They are all connected by causeways.
These are wonderful islands for a quiet beach, walking or cycling holiday with lovely white sand on Benbecula... and good wildlife watching at particular times of the year.
Eriskay is also famous for the wreck of SS Parliamentarian (Whisky Galore).
The wreck marker, however, didn't make a very impressive sight through the coach window.
Generally, we did feel that the coach itinerary was struggling to show us any really interesting sights in any of these islands.
