Really beautiful, great composition Rob!

I thought I was seeing things, especially given the point- and angle-of-view of the tower, until I realised that this is a composite image!! But it's very well done, full marks for the PP, Robbie. Wherever you got the fields from, they are terrific, I love fields like those...and the Cotswolds are full of them at the moment :o)

The lines in the foreground and the tracks in the background are wonderful lines and really add to the image.--Rene

Excellent composition on this shot Robbie - good thinking placing the tower to the left - it balances well with the fields and sky. +V

Stunning image -- that stormy sky -- beautiful! It works so well in contrast to the greens of the trees. I have always loved that strange color phenomenon.

What a fantastic shot. It doesn't even seem like a real place. Wonderful.

Wonderful view so well photographed. This castle reminds me Iris Murdoch novels, maybe be she was founding her inspiration somewhere near… Lucky you, Robbie to live in such wonderful place!

WOW Robbie, this is an amazing scene, I just love castles :)
the lighting, details and composition are top notch :)
What part of the UK is this in? I have a friend in Western England and wonder if this is near him.

Great composition with good lines in the foreground and background too. The sky is wonderful but I agree with Kal - it needs to be less noticeabley manipulated. Overall a strong image though!

One of your most expressive images Robbie, but the post processing in the sky is too obvious. In terms of composition and the idea it is perfect. The tracks in the distance and the lines of plants lead us to the subject (the storm) via the tower. The angry sky against the green calm fields is a wonderful incongruity. It expresses the human value of nature against man to me. Natural power agains mans power, symbolised by the tower.
