I really agree with Kal. Composition needs something. What if you added multiple insects in a variety of sizes and flying in different directions. Also, your big insect is slap in the center. BUT, I think you have the start of something here.--Rene
This has all the pieces required for an expressive image Robbie, it has the incongruity of a mecahincal insect, abstraction through colour, and Human Values, maybe in this case the impact of technology on the natural world. I also like the way you place the dragon fly accross the intersection of the blue and bright light. My only criticism is that compositionally it is missing somthing, there is not enough tension in the image, and I think it is becasue the dragon fly does not seem to be flying towards us, it is static. But a good concept.
