This is my 1969 Super Bee Coup. Purchased NEW $3,000 OTD (off the Showroom floor at Shadeland Dodge in Indinapolis) in March 1969. B5 Blue with Black Vinal Top, 383. 4 brl, 727 Torqueflite, 3.23:1 Rear gear (when new, later changed to 3.91:1 LS), Bucket Seats, Center Console, Pop-out rear windows and full functional Twin Scoop Ramcharger Hood. Ran 14.35 pure stock on street tires. Best ET after a few mods; 11.83 @ 116.67. Sure wish I had it back. :-{
I have the same car except for the trans. (4-speed) I changed the rearend like you did.
My question is did it drive on the street ok? RPM wise with the auto. these cars are
getting hard to find do to the abuse they suffered in the 70's. It is hard to keep a
car when raising a family and storage. I know many people in the same boat Thanks, Bob
