Black 93 Daytona Iroc R/T, Wisconsin S O L D !

For more info on this car contact Jackson Simler at lotashelbys@yahoo.com The car is located in South West Wisconsin (near the Wisconsin/Ill. border)
Up FOR SALE is a 1993 Iroc R/T that is owned by a friend of mine. He would love to keep this car but needs a more practical vehicle. He purchased this car on Ebay earlier this year with the dreaded oil pump failure. Since then it has been repaired and is in excellent mechanical condition. Now hopefully the car can go to a fellow Turbo Dodge enthusiast that shares the same love for these cars as I do. For those of you that didnt know there was was only a handful of Iroc R/Ts ever made. This car, being a black 93, is only 1 of 34 ever made. This car also has the rare dark gray and radiant red leather interior, which there was only 12 of them with that option. I would guess that this car is the only one like it with the options it has. The best part about this car is it's powertrain. It has everyones favorite DOHC 16valve Turbo 3 engine. I myself have a few of these cars and am quite knowledgeable about them, so feel free to ask as many questions as you may have. For those of you who are interested send me an e-mail and I can give you my cell phone number so we can talk more about the car. Here are some more details on it.

Exterior: This car had a factory quality paint job once in it's lifetime. It looks to have been done a few years back, so there are some imperfections. There are a few very small dings and a few scratches throughout the car. It also has a few rock chips on the hood and nose. The nose looks like it has scuffed a curb or two. There is no structural damage to the nose though. It has 17" chrome aftermarket wheels on it, that are still in excellent condition. It has the wrong fender medallions as you can see in one of the pics. Factory ones are still available though from another vendor here on Ebay. I know you are probably wondering about rust on the car. Well sad to say, there is some but is very savable. It is only on the underbody of the car and starts at the rear of the doors. It is alot more solid than many cars like this I have seen so dont let it scare you. Dont get me wrong the car really does look nice.

Interior: The car has the super rare red leather interior. It's not a maroon it's actually bright red. Bad part is the drivers seat is showing its age. It would have to be recovered to make it nice again. The passenger seat is not that bad but it does have a hole in it so it's not in perfect condition either. The rear seats are in very good condition and with some cleaning they should be mint. Door panels are in excellent condition and even the drivers armrest is intact! Most of the rest or the interior is in good condition including the headliner. The carpet is bright red and is very hard to keep clean but is still in good condition. The car was smoked in so it does have an odor.

Drivetrain: As I said earlier, it had the imfamous oil pump failure. So it has new bearings and the crank was polished by a local machine shop. New intermediate shaft bearings were installed as well. The balance shafts were removed while it was apart and a new high volume oil pump was installed. Now for the top end. It has a recast Dunn head on it that has a 95 casting date. It is UNCRACKED and has mopar aluminum core plugs. A visual inspection showed that the valvetrain is in excellent condition. The cams looked great, as did the rockers, and every lash cap was still intact in the lifters. After a few seconds that it is running the vavetrain is pretty quite for a T3. The trans is factory and is in great condition with no grinding in any gear.It had a new Centerforce II clutch from FWD performance while it was apart also.

I tried to describe some of the main things on the car. I'm sure I have missed a few things so those interested please ask any specific questions. The owner drove the car for about 250 to 300 miles after I put it back together with no problems so I dont see why it wouldnt go for a good distance. Anyone is welcome to come and see or test drive it that is close enough to do so. I know how hard it is to buy a car sight-unseen so I will do the best I can to answer as many questions as you may have. I would love to keep this car for myself but I own 2 Iroc R/Ts and have to many projects as it is, if I bought another one my girlfriend would make me sleep on a couch for weeks. Thanks for taking the time to read my rather long description of the car,
