2.5 L n/a Balance Shaft Removal

Here is the way I removed the balance shafts and plug the Oil Hole on this 2.5 N/A block. It will also work on a turbo block. Or go to Cliff Ramsdels site for a "How To" on the way he Plugs the Oil Hole. http://www.hometown.aol.com/mopartek/balanceplug.html

Remove Cover Plate to access Drive Chain.

Grind Tips off of one link, then pop apart with screwdriver to remove chain.

Remove (6) Bolts (Use ONLY 6 point socket, These Bolt Heads round VERY easy)

Oilhole (circled hole): Drill & Tap 5/16-18unc and Plug hole with Loctite & Screw.
