My mother, Virginia, immigrated to the US from London in February 1946. This photograph was taken in September 1947 when Virginia returned for a visit. By this time her mother Veronica, as well as her siblings Norma, Clem, and Thora were living in Dublin, Ireland, where this photo was taken.
