Michael Blake was identified in photos many years later by Norma Griffin Crosbie who is sitting on his lap at the age of five in the crowded front seat of their touring car. I believe he was a friend of Teresa's at the time this series of photos was taken, and because of that has achieved a measure of immortality in the Griffin universe. These are the only photographs in which Willie appears with his family. It seems likely that he had only recently come into possession of the touring car and was taking the clan out for a few rides in the country. The car is either a Morris Oxford or Cowley model.
