Great Blue Heron

A little mini-gallery on this hungry fellow. Saw him wading in low tide on the beach fishing for lunch.
In the half hour that I followed him, he was able to catch and swallowed down eight Yellow Shiner Perches!
He has a big appetite, I can’t imagine how much he is going to eat for dinner :0)
