Global

As I stroll along one of my favourite neighbourhoods and see many stores begin
to reopen, I feel a sense of normal creeping back into daily life. But this window
reminds me that many parts of the world are still climbing the curve and it was only
a few days ago that the world daily case count was at an all time high.

Well framed and captured. Lets hope there are enough smart and careful people to make things work again. ~V~

What a neat window display - the stats certainly are disturbing - I just hope people remain cautious ! Such disturbing scenes on BBC news yesterday re Tanzania being in denial and people having to be buried at night and no records being kept :( Having lived there - I have a strong bond with that country.

A timely photo, and so well composed.

It is quite a balancing act to open now and still halt the spread of the virus. Some places are doing better than others, but I think there is probably no going back now. In the absence of a comprehensive public health policy it is pretty much up to each of us to take responsibility for staying safe ourselves with the decisions we make.

Good use of the globes and all the different cards to go with your caption. "V"

telling that Africa is prominent in two globes, and Brazil in another one...the epidemic still rages there...what a fine interpretation of the scene here...

I hope people don't take things for granted and let their guard down. It aint over yet.

Represents the times perfectly.

A neat window display and sobering words to go with it. The world is hungry for a return to ‘normality’ but I’m encouraged by Our Provincial Health Officer who is practicing restraint and caution in gradually reopening our economy.

Our county in Kansas was doing well until they overruled our Governor and lessened her authority. We now have hot spots and increases in the virus. I like your display.

Yes, I fear as things open up many will let their guard down. I think it's ridiculous that it's a political issue. Excellent photo for the times.

We can expect infections to climb from loosening lockdowns and from the large crowds of protestors of recent days.
Hopefully, increased testing, more public cooperation and better leadership from countries may see cases leveling off...V

Excellent shot and very true with the narrative. It would be a while for life to return to new normal. v
