Rear PDC and Batteries.jpg

Here is my rear PDC just in front of the battery compartment. I haven't put the negative battery cable on yet as I haven't cut it to length and put ends on. The positive cable goes to a 300amp fuse holder. By going through the wall next to the batteries like this I was able to keep the 12vdc cables to under 3 feet of 2/0 welding cable, when dealing with high amps shorter is better!! If you look real close on right and left lower side of the inverter (green and white box)you will see where I added 90 degree elbows for the input and output conduits with 10/3 wire in them which come in from the inside wall of the PDC. I also had to build a frame work for the inverter to set on, very similar to newmar's. I will be cleaning up the messy 400w inverter wiring after I disconnect it.
