Weiler-Leopold Wildlife Refuge, 8/23/05

Morning excursion (8/23/05) through western Tippecanoe County and eastern Warren County, mainly to see NICHES properties along Wabash River; Weiler-Leopold Wildlife Refuge in Warren County was our main destination. Wild Turkeys, Bald Eagles (adult and juvenile), Eastern Wood-Peewee and others were our find. And a chance meeting with Susan Ulrich, former head of NICHES, was there to explain the plant life and wildlife of the area.
