One of the great waterfalls of the world, Victoria Falls, or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
David Livingstone was the first European to view the falls in 1855 and named them after Queen Victoria.
We visited in 2004 at the end of the rainy season and the water volume was incredible.
A Microlight flight over the falls (from the Zambia side), is an excellent way to view the falls. Tanya was in heaven. I was clinging on for dear life.
