Mt Hamilton

A favorite destination with the "desired mode" of transportation, a bicycle. This beautiful climb starts in San Jose, Ca. at the corner of Alum Rock and Mt Hamilton roads. Seventeen miles of climbing and two descending along the way puts you at the domes of Mt Lick Observatory, 4200 feet above the Bay area.
