Kraton Mangkunegara (Sultan's Palace) in Surakarta, Indonesia

There are two sultan's/king's palaces (kraton) in Surakarta. This is the second and smaller of the two built in 1757. Part of the kraton is still occupied by the present king and his family. There is also a museum although this was under renovation when we visited this time and we only saw a small pert of it.
