I found this newspaper clipping going through old belongings of my parents after they were gone.Dates back to the 1950's.Check the house prices....wow!
A Windsor Park area home in the 1950's was going for $16,500...today...nothing under $700,000.

Great, Rick. It's very interesting to read.Was quite some simpler times back then, but nevertheless, it was a lot of many back then I guess. But your right, people wich bought a property back then have quite a fortune now

yes fun to read, I visited an old house my family once owned, the 4 top rooms where all covered with 1930's newspaper.

I was reading all of these and the one on the right...rubber tile floor....interesting but the prices are definately right! What a cool find!
