Found on bay side flat at edge of incoming tide between 1st and 2nd crossovers. This bird and one other have been here for a couple of weeks and I've not seen them fly. Perhaps they are in molt. I did not see the 2nd bird this day nor any day since as of 7/31. One fitting this description was reported on Plymouth Beach in the interval. Perhaps it moved over there. Thankfully it took the time to pose for this shot before leaving!
