Last weekend I only saw two furtive formerly-known-as "Sharp-tailed Sparrows". Today in my various stopping points I saw several. This seemed to be the day to try to get pictures. This shot gives the feel for what they look like in the grass - though they aren't out in the open very much of the time. Much better shots follow - with comments re identification etc.
