For several years the Osprey pole in the Gurnet Marsh has sat empty. Last year some twigs appeared but nothing materialized. Today I found 2 birds on the pole and a fair amount of nesting material. Whether they will continue to finally grace the pole with an active nest is uncertain at best, but we can hope!
