Chile slices through the South Hemisphere and therefore provides very diverse landscapes. In the North it is part of the South American Alto Plano, and here you can truly see that Mother Earth is still active 'down below'.

Whilst walking around the volcanic hotspot at sunrise (in -18c temperature) we cooked our eggs for breakfast in the boiling water pools around the vents!
