The Everest Base Camp trek is quite simply, one of the best things we've ever done. Ignore anyone who says it’s busy up there - it's popular for a reason! I'm a sucker for views, mountains, snow and photography and you get it all here - every day. We finished up at the 5551m summit of Kala Patar, looking down on Everest base camp where the mountaineers were preparing to continue up to the 8840m roof of the world...
