This is my favorite drive in Texas. It is better to come in from the East side off of
281 to 1323. The whole trip is great. And when you round the canyon it takes your breath away - even if there aren't any flowers. Dianne Martinez, Baytown

I was just on the loop this past Saturday. I'm glad I went 1323 instead of 290 to 16.
"WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DRIVE". I will definitely do it again soon. Thank you so much for these beautiful photos. I took several of my own and they are great!

Really beautiful fields of wildflowers! I have taken some shots of similar flowers, but I have a ways to go to capture them this well :-).

All of these photos were either taken with my Canon 10d or my Olympus 2100uz both of which are digital cameras. The one exception ishttp://www.pbase.com/image/14853588 which was taken with my Canon F1 and scanned from negative.
