The light that fell on this patch
of forest bottom caught my eye the most.
The image shows all the ingredients that create the
rich bottomland soils in riparian areas.
The photo was taken at Old Tunnel WMA known more for its viewing of Mexican free-tail bats,
but the property provides some limited hiking
as well.
