Unhappy with my first project I decided to return to the theme of reflections and take a different tack. Inspired by Pbase artist Christine P. Newman’s “Shard’s of Reality” I decided to smash an old mirror and glue the pieces onto a board. The final product weighed a ton and proved to be less than portable. I had done a fashion shoot on the weekend before the third class and with much trial and tribulation I managed to blend some of the model images with photographs I had taken of the mirror. I also used some of the photos I had taken of my mannequin in the first project. To Christine’s credit, her images were done without having to resort to Photoshop.
