Taken at sunset, this photo records the last time this juvenile male Ruby-throated Hummingbird was sighted visiting the feeder before beginning his southward migration. He had spent several days here resting and feeding. He became familiar enough to allow the photographer to as close as 60 centimeters (two feet).
