The unusal locomotive consist was Dash 8-40BW #556, SD9 #6109 (ex-Great Northern #582), GP60B #337 (ex-ATSF) and SD9 #6153 (ex-Chicago, Burlington & Quincy #351). The trailing locomotive, #6153, received from General Motors' Electro-Motive Division in July, 1955.
