Impressive, two and a half-meter tall wall spanning the heart of Angkor Thom. Carved elephants and giant garudas (bird-men) adorn the full length. Constructed as part of Jayavarman VII's building campaign but extended by his successor. It was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king's grand audience hall.
