Since 1996, every year in May / June there's a big celebration event in Berlin, called "Karneval der Kulturen" - Carnival of Cultures.
It's a four day street festival, culminating in a procession, starting around noon and lasting till late evening.
In this street parade people from up to 80 nations are taking part - bringing the face of the world to Berlin.
In 2009 the Carnival of Cultures had 1.45 million visitors.
