It's little body is probably 18-24 inches long, from shoulders to tail. I have never been this close to a fawn, much less getting to pet it. It just occurred to me that although I held Phoenix back and away from the fawn, she wasn't struggling to get to it, which enabled me to get a few non-blurred photos. What a great dog!
