In the evening glow
The Palace was built by the Roman Emporer Diocletian in 295-305 AD.
Only the some walls and catacombs remain as original.
The original palace now forms the nucleus of the new city - began in 614.
Refugees from Salona utilized the walls of the derelict palace to create a town.
