I do virtually all my macro at f32 or f22, but, for objects like this, which appears to be in a virtually flat plane, might it have been better to use f8 which would have allowed a faster shutter speed and a lower ISO? It appears a bit grainy and not quite as sharp as it might be. I feel sharpness in these type of pictures is paramount
