Tough challenge here, Gary. You've played well with the hand dealt to you, though I would recommend a couple of options. Whether or not it is so, it appears as though the petals to the lower left and bottom of the main bloom don't appear to be in very healthy nick. So the question is, what options? 1. Crop tightly to the main bloom on the vertical, thus excluding distracting petals whilst including palm leaves. 2. darken (vignette) down around main bloom, allowing natural underexpose to promote main subject. The deadened leaves of the green palm frond can be given similar attention. The camera, unfortunately delivers only what it sees, not what the photographer takes in. Strong composition nonetheless.
