This was a scan from a 4x5 inch monochrome negative so no conversion took place! The graduated tones from some detail at the base to pure black at the top of the rock was what I intended to accentuate the shape and silhouette. Tony

Sricking image with the tree hightlighted against the sky although the rich blacks have lost detail in the conversion to mono which detracts from the image .
