An aerial shot that is a record of the weir and a gives a story of human intervention in nature. The panoramic frame suits the image and the central positioning of the subject
hints at symmetry that is broken enough to give interest. Technically there are good rich colours, the image is well exposed and in focus throughout. For a competition image however, I think
the image needs to be stronger or more interesting. I also did not like the distortion from the wide angle lens especially in the foreground edges and most noticeable in the building.
