Judges Comments

An abstract image that relies on the viewer to create the story. The image is purposefully two dimensional which allows the entire image to be in focus and there are no
major distractions to draw your eye away. The grout in the tiles gives context and scale and also creates a base for the image to rest on. There are rich, earthy
colours visible in the subject while the red shapes between the two forms creates a connection. I think the image would be improved if the dark line linking the two shapes was removed.
