A great candid portrait of a child that captures energy and expression and gives a glimpse of personality. Technically the exposure has been well
controlled in the harsh light, the face and front of the body are all well lit and the deep shadows have been minimised. The crop is tight but appears intentional
with the subject filling the frame well. The use of depth of field to blur the background has also removed any distractions and we remain focused on the subject.
