 This image ticks the boxes for sports photography. It has the face of the competitor, it is in focus in the critical areas, and it shows the action. The highlight on the ball and the
face of the player carrying it works well as it is surrounded by shadows and creates an area of high contrast. The image also has some strong, saturated colours that stand out well
against the grass. To improve the image, consider an even tighter crop, taking off the heads of the two background players and maybe the advertising to the right of the image.
